On 18/9/2025, at the Hall of Tay Do Steel Co., Ltd., the Congress of Delegates of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the Company for the 2025–2030 term took place in a solemn, vibrant, and spirited atmosphere. This is an important political event, marking a new stage of maturity for the Youth Union organization and the Company's youth movement.

Achievements of the 2022–2025 term: Highlights of dynamism and creativity

In the past term, despite many fluctuations and challenges in the steel industry, the youth of Tay Do Steel affirmed their mettle with the spirit of pioneering – creativity – volunteerism, closely linking Youth Union activities with production–business tasks and community responsibility.

• In production: Youth union members were the core force in key projects such as upgrading the rolling line from 120,000 tons/year to 170,000 tons/year (operational from 5/2024) and the billet reheating furnace with a capacity of 35 tons/hour (3/2025). Many technical innovation initiatives helped save costs and improve productivity.
• In volunteer and social security movements: maintained an average of 36 units of voluntary blood donation per year, peaking at 90 units in 5/2025; actively engaged in “Gratitude” activities, visiting Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, building houses of gratitude – compassion, and caring for disadvantaged children.
• In building corporate culture: spread the movement “Green – Clean – Beautiful Workplace”, cultivated industrial discipline, organized sports and arts activities, contributing to a civilized and united working environment.
• In Party-building work: introduced 11 outstanding youth for Party consideration, with 7 admitted (140% of the target), affirming the Youth Union’s core role in nurturing the next generation.

Goals and orientation for 2025–2030: Aspiration for innovation and sustainable development

Entering the new term, the Congress agreed on the action motto: “Solidarity – Creativity – Innovation – Development”.

Some key targets:

• At least 04 technical innovation initiatives applied each year.
• Organize 50 units of voluntary blood donation annually.
• Strive for 90% of members to achieve the advanced or excellent title.
• Introduce 25 outstanding youth to the Party during the term.
• Each year coordinate to build 3–4 charity houses for staff and the community.

This is not only an action goal, but also a commitment of Tay Do Steel’s youth to accompany the Company’s sustainable development, connecting Union movements with the strategy of building the corporate brand and social responsibility.

Executive Committee for the 2025–2030 term: Representatives of youth mettle and aspiration

With a spirit of democracy, solidarity, and responsibility, the Congress elected the Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Tay Do Steel Co., Ltd. for the 2025–2030 term, comprising 05 comrades:

• Comrade Nguyen Quoc Duong – Deputy Secretary
• Comrade Le Mong Thuong – Member of the Executive Committee, Deputy Head of the Inspection Committee
• Comrade Nguyen Hoang Minh – Member of the Executive Committee
• Comrade Le Thi Thanh Mai – Member of the Executive Committee

The new Executive Committee represents the mettle, intellect, and aspirations of the Company’s youth, promising to carry on traditions, spread the pioneering spirit, and write new pages of achievement.

Aspirations of Tay Do Steel’s youth: Steadfast steps in a new era

In the closing speech, the new Executive Committee affirmed: the youth of Tay Do Steel Co., Ltd. pledge to promote the spirit of “Mettle – Creativity – Pioneering – Volunteerism”, determined to train, dedicate, and assert their pioneering role in production, innovation, and youth movements. The Congress calls on all Union members and youth of the Company to unite to overcome difficulties, aspire to rise, and contribute to the sustainable development of Tay Do Steel, worthy of being the Party’s reliable reserve force.
